Alkor Bio Group has widened the range of Drug Allergens

In May 2013 the Allergology Lab of Alkor Bio Group has developed 9 new drug allergens, including paracetamol, aspirin, tetracycline, erythromycin, and etc. Thus, Alkor Bio produces 11 allergens of this group for the present period.
All in all in May the specialists of the Allergology Lab have developed 30 new allergens of the following groups: occupational, epithelia, foods, mites, insects-venoms and mixes, including food mix (pediatric). For the present moment the Alkor Bio product catalogue lists 212 ready-to-use allergens, including recombinant allergen rBet v 1 Birch (Betula verrucosa).
Lyudmila T. Kochish, the Chief of Allergology Lab of Vega, Ltd. (Alkor Bio Group):
«This year we plan to widen the quantity of drug, occupational, food, dust and epithelia allergens. As well as substantially expand of allergen mixes such as new food mixes, trees mixes and dust mixes are expected.»
All allergens are used together with a test-system for allergy diagnostics of Alkor Bio Group production: AllergoEIA-specific IgE, used for quantity determination of specific IgE in human serum blood with immune-enzyme analysis method. The test-system for allergy diagnostics and every allergen are registered in Roszdravnadzor and have CE-mark.
