Alkor Bio Group – is the first Russian company who has developed and has registered in Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare (Roszdravnadzor) the card for collection and storage of biological material samples (DNA-card).

Today DNA-card is used for forensic and criminalistic analysis as a method of storing DNA libraries of prisoners. It is possible because DNA can be stored on the card for many years. These DNA-cards could be used in clinical laboratories, in veterinary science, for extraction and storage of DNA plants, and other researches needed a genetic analysis.

DNA card is designed for the collection, conservation and storage samples of biological material, mostly a capillary and venous blood. Biological material is stored in a dry spot on the card ready for the next DNA extraction or amplification from the carrier without preliminary extraction of the nucleic acid.

For collection biomaterial DNA card has field sample application and area for register information. Each DNA-card has a unique number with bar-code.

Transportation and using of this card is simple. You just need an envelope for transportation. And you can you use it for PCR without extraction DNA step. What about storage of DNA-cards, you can do it at room temperature without any refrigeration.

New card for the collection of biological material samples on the domestic market allows to Russian research laboratories and institutes to get more advantageous terms for their researches.
