At the beginning of 2012 the ALKOR BIO Company launched the lyophilic drying installation, manufactured by German company ZIRBUS, at its production area. That is the second most significant purchase of the company for the last half a year. After the resettlement of ALKOR BIO to its own building the company has purchased for its production area an automatic line for immunobiological plane tables manufacturing. This expensive import equipment allows to make the process of antigens and/or antibodies batching of high precise and mark each card separately that is very important for all strict Russian and European requirements to medical products identification. The new installation productivity is 50 kg/24 h. Only a few large federal science-and-research institutes in the North-West region of Russia have lyophilic equipment of such capacity.

    - Every product requires its own lyophilic program, - says the chief engineer-technologist of ALKOR BIO filling Group Sergey Blinov,- we need to test control points: freezing temperature, vacuum levels at which intensive evaporation starts and etc. on some part of the product before we make such a program. For these purposes we have a small laboratory lyophilic drying installation. As soon as we experimentally define all necessary parameters and make a program we start working on a big installation.

Thanks to the new powerful installation for lyophilic drying ALKOR BIO has a possibility to make the whole cycle of reagents production which need lyophilization: solution preparation, filling, drying, packing, marking. The packing process is possible both in filling-packing facility and in lyophilic drying installation. Product filling before drying and the following bottles packing after drying are performed on an automatic filling line in a laminar stream of purified air. The bottles filling in the drying installation chamber allows to make lyophilization of even hygroscopic products.
