In 2011 one of the research units of the Alkor Bio Group  - «Vega» - entered the technological platform «Medicine of the future» together with the scientific-technical board «Molecular & cellular targets for diagnostics & therapy».

«Medicine of the future» became the first officially settled technological platform in Russia. The organization works under the auspices of The Economic Development Department together with The Education and Science Department of Russian Federation.

In October 2011 in Kaliningrad took place the meeting of the steering committee and the scientific and technical committee of the technological platform «Medicine of the future». Scientists, representatives of the government and of the business community discussed two main problems: elaboration of the development plan for the technological platform and determination of the Research Strategic Plan principles.

At this meeting members of the «Vega» company took part in the updating of the national program «The development of science and technology», which would be realized under the aegis of The Education and Science Department of Russian Federation. The «Vega» company particularly participated in the discussion of number of suggestions concerning one of the lines of this program, named «Science of Life». Thanks to the fact that the discussion was public sections were widened and the statements concerning laboratory diagnostics and medical technologies were specified.

Per se, technological platform is an instrument aimed for partnership fence-mending and intensification of interaction between private sector and government. The technological platform's terms of reference cover biomedical developments in instrument engineering, pharmaceutical composition, diagnostic system and consumables fields. The «Medicine of the future» already unite about 200 members, including leading Russian universities, Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, Russian Academy of Sciences.
